NOVEC sponsoredNOVEC Night with the Potomac Nationals  baseball game on August 23, 2008, at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge. The Globe radio station, 94.7, presented a free fireworks show after the game. Twenty-five homeless children from SERVE enjoyed dinner at Glory Days Grill and then were driven to the stadium by Reston Limousine to watch the game.
