On March 14, 2009 the Strikes for SERVE Bowl-A-Thon was held at Bowl America, 9000 Mathis Ave., Manassas, Va. NOVEC HELPS had two teams of five bowlers participating in the 1:00 p.m. slot. Captains were Ginger Hamlin and Pat Wilcox. The 18th Annual Strikes for SERVE Bowl-A-Thon raised approximately $25,000 through the efforts of 55 different teams of bowlers.

"NOVEC's support will help continue SERVE's mission in the Community," states Hamlin. SERVE, Inc. is a non-profit organization based int he Prince William Area that works to strengthen the community through comprehensive programs that support basic human needs and promote economic independence.
