Youth Tour
Applications for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Youth Tour of Washington, D.C. for 2026 are now open! Applicants must be public, private, or home-schooled current high school sophomores or juniors whose homes are served by NOVEC.
The selected students, along with students from electric cooperatives across the U.S., will meet congressional representatives; tour museums, historic sites and memorials; and enjoy special events and entertainment.
Youth Tour 2026 will be held June 15-19.

Fill out the online application. If you have any questions or concerns, send an email to youthtour@novec.com.
A completed application, essay, and two letters of recommendation must be received by 5 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2026. The letters of recommendation must be emailed or mailed separately from the application. After reviewing the applications, NOVEC will interview candidates in late February.
