NOVEC asks customers to reduce power use!

NORTHERN VIRGINIA – Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative asks all customers to voluntarily reduce power use today, Jan. 23, 2014, while frigid outdoor temperatures are causing customers to use more energy than normal to run their heating systems and water heaters. NOVEC requests that customers use dishwashers, ovens, washing machines, and dryers only between noon and 5 p.m.
