Beware of scams
If you suspect someone is trying to scam you, call the local police and then call NOVEC at 703-335-0500 or 1-888-335-0500. Never dial the phone number provided by a suspected scammer.
Safety is always a top priority at NOVEC, with concern for both our employees and customers. The Cooperative's safety program is an on-going effort involving all staff, with emphasis on field employees and lineworkers. These staff members are rigorously trained in safety measures, ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of electricity. They are also trained in the operation of company trucks and equipment, helping to keep area roadways safe for all drivers.
For over 30 years, NOVEC has participated in the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association's Safety Achievement Program (RESAP). This program includes a thorough investigation of all safety practices and procedures and also includes a yearly safety improvement plan.
