Skip Albrite - District 7

Skip Albrite was elected to serve on the NOVEC Board of Directors in 2013. He represents members living in southern Prince William, Stafford and Fauquier counties. Albrite currently serves on the Power Supply, Audit/Budget, and Facilities committees. 

Albrite grew up in Nokesville and attended Brentsville District High School. After graduating, he became an entrepreneur in Manassas. He founded Skippy’s Trucking Inc. in 1973, Stone Center with his son Cleil in 1999, and Patriot Development Corporation with two partners in 2003. Albrite currently manages his commercial and residential real estate developments as well as various investments. 

Outside of work, Albrite has raised and raced thoroughbred horses for the past 40 years in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. 

Albrite and his wife, Tridy, of 53 years, live in Nokesville. They have four adult children and nine grandchildren.
